About the TITUS Collection

Welcome to the TITUS 2.0 collection. This project aims to make a corpus material of different languages available for reading and downloading in various formats. TITUS 2.0 is an updated version of datasets previously existing in the TITUS database. For further instructions on how to use TITUS 2.0, see here. The data in TITUS 2.0 is available via the GitHub organization here.

Our Mission

We aim to provide a comprehensive and accessible database of texts to support scholars, researchers, and enthusiasts interested in the diverse linguistic and literary heritage of humanity. Our platform aims to:

• improve and curate existing datasets, as well as adding new material
• offer access to TEI and CLDF versions of the texts for in-depth analysis
• give access to textual metadata in a uniform format, adapting to the standard of Text+
